Angela Schykerynec, a recent graduate of Orland High and a Cal-Berkeley signee representing Golden State Throwers, won the women's 17-18 division hammer throw title with a sixth-round performance of 171-1 (52.15m) at the USATF National Junior Olympic Championships at Hayward Field in Eugene, Ore. Schykerynec, who also captured the weight throw crown at Nike Indoor Nationals in March in New York, led a Golden State Throwers sweep of the top three spots and the group produced five of the eight All-Americans.
